Peter Panton, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Peter J. Panton, M.D., attended college and medical school at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He served his internship at University of Chicago and his residency at the University of Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the American Board of Laser Surgery.  Dr. Panton is married and has two children.


Robert Panton, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Robert W. Panton, M.D., attended college and medical school at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He served his residency at University of Illinois and completed his fellowship in corneal transplantation and cataract surgery at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Panton is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is the past treasurer and President of the Hellenic Medical Society of Chicago and the Chicago Ophthalmological Society, respectively. Dr. Panton joined his father and brother in practice in 1991. He is married and has three children.


Elizabeth Panton-Karkazis, O.D.

Dr. Elizabeth Panton-Karkazis, O.D., attended college at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Optometry School at Illinois College of Optometry, where she was inducted into the Beta Kappa Sigma and Tomb & Key honor societies. Dr. Panton has a particular interest in refractive services, including glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Panton is married and has three children.


John Panton, M.D., F.A.C.S.

1924-2015

Dr. John H. Panton, founder, attended the National University Medical School in Athens, Greece. He served his internship at Mercy Hospital in Chicago and his residency at Presbyterian-St. Luke's Hospital and the University of Illinois. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Panton is married and has four children.
